Job Description

• General Duties:

  • Perform Fluoro/Diagnostic X-rays on inpatients and ED patients.
  • Conduct portable X-rays on patient floors.
  • Execute C-Arm procedures in the OR.

• Equipment Utilized:

  • Rad rooms, portable X-ray, C-Arms, R/F, IT equipment, McKesson PACS, Centricity RIS, EPIC EMR.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum Experience: 2 years in a clinical setting with Trauma experience preferred.
• Skills:

  • Proficient in Trauma, Imaging, and portable X-rays.
  • Basic skills in fluoroscopy and C-Arm procedures.

Licensure and Certifications

• Required:

  • ARRT
  • BLS
  • Nebraska License

Shift and Schedule

• Details: Discussed in the interview.
• Floating: May require floating between the Emergency Department and Diagnostic Department.

Additional Information

• Patient Load: Average of 20-25 patients in the ED per shift.
• Support Staff: No support staff except on floors; responsible for a portion of portables on floors.
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any solid color; hospital scrubs provided for surgery.
• Training: Begins with NEO and includes various departmental on-the-job training.
