Registered Nurse - Surgery

Location: Wray, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour day shifts (generally 6am to 4:30pm or 7am to 5:30pm)
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in surgery including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Call required one day per week from 5pm to 6am and approximately one 24-hour weekend call per month.
• Experience with robotic surgeries using Da Vinci and Mako robots.
• Surgical cases include orthopedics (including total joint replacements, excluding spine), ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, general surgery (appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel surgeries, hernia repair), C-sections, ENT (tonsillectomy), colonoscopy, and EGD procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of perioperative experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
