Job Overview
- Progressive care float pool role covering PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac patients
- May also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity
- Patient ratio: 1:3-4
- Minimal requested time off
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- 2 years of float experience
- Float experience within the last year
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Clinical Focus
- STEMI
- NSTEMI
- Cardiac surgery
- Chest pain
- Cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors
