Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Travel Opportunity

Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

Maternal Fetal Monitoring Sonographer position
No call or weekend shifts required
Work primarily with fetal cardiac imaging and maternal fetal medicine
Unit has 12 beds and a patient ratio of 6-8 patients per sonographer
Equipment used includes GE Voluson E22 and GE Voluson E10
Electronic Medical Record system: Viewpoint

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience, including experience within the last year
ARDMS certification
ARRT (S) certification
BLS certification

Typical Procedures

1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester ultrasounds
Fetal echocardiograms
Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and amniocentesis assistance

Work Environment

Day shift only with no call or weekend requirements
Dress code: Moss green scrub tops and black bottoms
Unit staffed by 12 sonographers, 3 nurses, 3 medical assistants, and 3 front desk personnel on day shift
