Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wyoming
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Women's Services experience
- Nursery experience
- Post Partum experience
- OB/GYN experience
- Antepartum experience
- LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP issued by American Heart Association
- STABLE
- AWHONN
Role Highlights
- Provides direct maternal-newborn and women’s health nursing care, including labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, triage, and OB/GYN patient care
- Assists with C-sections and deliveries
- Monitors fetal status and attends the neonatal station in the C-section suite
- May float to another unit as helping hands or sitter depending on census
Additional Notes
- Certifications must be through the American Heart Association
- Fetal monitoring certification classes are attended every two years
- A coversheet is required with submission
