Overview

Travel assignment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Unit: Radiology
Building: Main Campus
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
BLS
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently

Preferred Qualifications

Unit Details

400-bed unit
Average 180 CT exams per day
3 scanners
Staffing: 2 techs per scanner during the day; total 3 techs overnight
Equipment includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice
Performs ED and IP only
Procedures include routine CT exams for ED and IP patients, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
Uses Meditech

Additional Notes

Charcoal grey required uniform
The unit is ACR accredited in CT
Joint Commission accredited
