Patient ratio: 5:1 to 6:1
Shift availability: Must be willing to work days, nights, and mids
Weekend expectation: 2 of 4 weekends per schedule, or 4 of 8 weekend shift days; straight weekends may be considered
Float expectation: May float if needed, though rare
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Start timing: Must be able to start within 7–10 days for rapid response consideration
Travel radius: Must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel

Required Qualifications

License: Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Experience: Med Surg with 2 years of experience
Recent experience: Med Surg experience within the last year
Certifications: BLS
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

Swallow Screen is preferred
Will take a dysrhythmia and math dosage test on day one of orientation
Must be available for holidays as determined during phone screening
Facility education will be provided during orientation
Scrubs may be any color
Unacceptable attire includes hoodies, t-shirts, shirts with wording/pictures, and facial piercings
