EEG Technologist

Overview

Travel assignment in Portland, Maine
Full-time traveler contract
Primarily serves inpatient and outpatient EEG services
Supports adult and pediatric studies
40-48 hours/week

Required Qualifications

EEG Technologist (1 year of experience)
EEG Technologist experience within the last year
ABRET
Experience in a(n) Acute Care or Hospital setting
Electrode application using the international 10-20 system and other specialized montages
Ambulatory EEG experience with paste, tape, wrap method
Ability to recognize and document clinically significant EEG patterns and events

Preferred Qualifications

ICU/continuous monitoring experience
Advanced pediatric experience
Ambulatory EEG experience with paste, tape, wrap method

Unit / Setting

Busy academic medical center
4 outpatient exam rooms
Must be comfortable with 4+ patients/day
Supports routine, urgent, and continuous monitoring
Includes ICU bedside studies
May rotate between inpatient and outpatient settings

Schedule

Day, evening, or weekend coverage as needed
40-hour guarantee
No call requirements

Additional Notes

Supports learners in the EEG Training program as needed
Any color or pattern scrubs are allowed
