Psychologist - Psychiatry (Travel Position)

Location: Falls Church, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (Full-time, Monday to Friday)

Job Description

• Work on an inpatient and outpatient eating disorder unit with 10 total beds.
• Patient ratio approximately 1:5.
• Unit staffed with RNs, mental health techs, dieticians, and therapists.
• Therapists do not use specialized equipment in their role.
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse.
• Floating or flex time may be required.
• Experience in behavioral health required; eating disorder experience preferred but training available.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Psychologist license in Virginia
• Master's degree in Social Work or Master's degree in Counseling
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Psychologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Experience with discharge planning
• Certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
• Fingerprints/background check required
