Description

Dialysis RN

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Unit: Dialysis unit (10 beds/chairs)
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 12 hours; 36 hours per week
Scheduling: Can combine 12-hour and 8-hour shifts to reach 36 hours. Monday through Saturday day shifts, with every Saturday covered. Notes also list 3 x 12-hour days (7a-7:30p) and Sunday through Saturday coverage.
Call/standby: The source answers no to a call or standby requirement, but a later note says on-call shifts are required. Confirm this with the recruiter.
Holidays: Rotated among staff: Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve (closed on winter holidays), Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day

Role: Perform hemodialysis treatments
Diagnoses: End-Stage Renal Disease, Acute Kidney Injuries
Patient volume: About 20 patients per day
Daily team: 6-7 nurses, 1 AKI physician, and 1 ESRD physician
