Neurosurgery NP/PA – Locums | Seattle, WA
Facility: Swedish Neuroscience Institute – Neurosurgery
Location: Seattle, WA
Specialty: Neurosurgery NP/PA
Pay: $100–$130/hr
Job Type: Locum Tenens | Ongoing
Start: ASAP, pending credentialing
Schedule
- 4 × 10-hour shifts/week
- 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Inpatient coverage
- Occasional weekend beeper call: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Provider rounds in the morning, then remains on beeper call
- 10 guaranteed hours/day
- Full-time coverage need
Responsibilities
- Inpatient neurosurgery patient management and rounding
- Manage assigned patients (approx. 10 patients/shift)
- Provide clinical coverage alongside the neurosurgery team
- Respond to phone consultations and call needs
- First-assist experience is a plus, but not required
- No admissions required
- No supervision of other APPs
Facility & Support
- 12 beds in department
- Level III Trauma Center
- Stroke-certified facility
- Strong support staff, including RNs, MAs, and APPs
- Epic EMR
Requirements
- Board Certified – BC only
- Active WA license or IMLC
- DEA required
- BLS & ACLS required
- Current CV required for submission
- Neurosurgery experience required
- Estimated credentialing: 30–60 days
- Temporary privileges available
