Description

Reports directly to Director of Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Patient Safety and Infection Prevention to assist with hospital-wide monitoring, implementation, teaching and reporting of infection prevention initiatives.1. Hand hygiene data collection (weekly)2. Antibiotic data collection (daily/weekly)3. Provide hand hygiene education and assessment to new hires (every third week)4. Orientation for IP to new hires (OSHA requirements, basic IP, HH, etc.)5. IP Environmental rounding weekly6. Vaccination clinics for seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccination boosters- Prefer ability to flex hours between 6 AM some days and 7 PM others to allow opportunity for staff coming on and off shifts7. Safety Fair Hand Hygieneducation8. N95 FIT Testing – yearly retesting for about 350 staff ( per OSHA requirements)a. Training on the FIT testing process to be validated by Susan Willis or myself, including how to FIT test, document, education around N95 mask preservation per CDC9. PPE donning and doffing training/review10. Member of the IP Committee11. Policy review and revision suggestions12. State reporting as required13. Demonstrates understanding of LPN duties on the inpatient units as they relate to:-Med administration, education, monitoring of side effects, documentation-Providing nursing care under the supervision of the RN-Management of the milieu in accordance with policy and procedure to ensure safe and therapeutic environment-Management of crisis situations-Performing safety checks and environmental checks-Sharing accurate, precise and relevant information with other members of the multidisciplinary team-Accountable for unit and patient safety in accordance with policy and procedures to ensure patient safety.

The Brattleboro Retreat's Inpatient Treatment Programs provides people with a broad range of short-term, around-the-clock care for a wide range of acute mental health and addiction problems. Admissions are accepted 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week.The Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offers 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment that's designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery. Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while also managing co-occurring psychiatric issues (such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, etc.). The Co-Occurring Disorders treatment team specializes in providing high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and the education needed to ensure a strong and successful recovery.The Area and RegionThe Brattleboro Retreat is situated in the Southern Vermont town of Brattleboro. Conveniently located near Interstate 91, a major North-South thoroughfare, Brattleboro is home to a thriving downtown. With a number of restaurants, pubs, and breweries (all located within a few blocks of each other), Downtown Brattleboro a foodie’s paradise. The town is also a haven for the arts. It is home to historic theaters, galleries, and artisanal boutiques. For those who like to get outdoors and explore, there are no shortage of options in and around Brattleboro. The West River converges with the Connecticut right in Brattleboro’s downtown, offering opportunities for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. Within easy driving distance are a handful of local and state parks. Finally, there are close to 10 guided & self-guided biking tours that start right in town.Southern Vermont Information housing offered depending on vacancy. Should the traveler choose to accept facility housing, it will be $300-450 depending on which rooms/sizes are available. Gaudy and Gina are awesome!!!

I worked a while ago for Tact. I have no idea why there are bad reviews but they are amazing!!! Gaudy deserves such a great recognition for her work and placing me in the epicenter of the pandemic and doing her job amazingly! She was also promoted. Gina recruiter is so nice, good , caring and understanding. I love them the company I just wasn’t able to do a travel job again at the time they were helping me again in 2022/3 but they are great to work for and with!
