Position Overview
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The unit consists of 15 beds dedicated to adult critical care patients who have undergone surgery or experienced trauma.
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
- Hours: Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Coverage: Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
- Time Off: Up to 40 hours of time off may be approved
Qualifications
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Experience with the Epic electronic health record system is mandatory.
- Must meet float policy requirements of the healthcare organization.
- Current Virginia nursing license or pending application is accepted.
