Description

Job Summary

Step Down Unit This registered nurse position supports progressive care unit and medical-surgical telemetry acute care needs. The assignment may be placed on the unit with the greatest need based on the clinicians skills and includes day shifts with every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday coverage.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure with license verification; minimum 2 years of progressive care unit or medical-surgical telemetry acute care experience; travel nursing experience; proficiency with EPIC; completion of the registered nurse step-down progressive care unit specialty examination and required skills checklist.
Additional Information: Assignment may be on a progressive care unit or medical-surgical telemetry unit based on organizational needs and the clinicians demonstrated skills. On-site floating within the clinicians established skill set may be required. Assignment dates are 11/15/2026 through 02/13/2027.
