***Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg/Tele and Med Surg***
-Position / Specialty: PCU – Gen 8 Acute (Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg travelers will have all levels)
-Start date:
-Ratios: 1:4 all shifts
-Years of experience REQ: 1 year
-First-timers accepted: (Y/N) No
-Weekend REQ: Yes- every other
-Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH
-Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? No
-Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - Floating within service line, floating between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, & Wildwood facilities as needed. -Float Units: Neuro/ Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observation
-Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) No
-Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? No local travelers 50 miles or less
-Pending License accepted: (Y/N) No
-RTO Restrictions: Greater than 3 days will require Management approval
-Guaranteed Hours: 36 hour with the possibility of picking up an extra shift each week if available
-Special Requirements:
Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, MS, Seizures, Myasthenia gravis, Other neurological issues, Craniotomies, Brain masses
Special Procedures/Unit Details: LP's - ***Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg
Work Setting: Telemetry and High flow Required
Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias
IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral Line Care/Management
Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA and Pre/Post neurosurgery
Respiratory/Thoracic: Nasal Cannula and Non-invasive airway management
Computerized Charting: EPIC
Teaching Hospital Experience required

Gaudy and Gina are awesome!!!
I worked a while ago for Tact. I have no idea why there are bad reviews but they are amazing!!! Gaudy deserves such a great recognition for her work and placing me in the epicenter of the pandemic and doing her job amazingly! She was also promoted. Gina recruiter is so nice, good , caring and understanding. I love them the company I just wasn’t able to do a travel job again at the time they were helping me again in 2022/3 but they are great to work for and with!
