Description

Pharmacist – Clinical | Travel Contract

Facility: SRCC / Kaweah Health
Location: Visalia, CA
Specialty: Clinical Pharmacist
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: 09/21/2026
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Shift: 4×10 Days/Mids

Days: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Mids: 1:00 PM–11:00 PM

Requirements

Current California Pharmacist license
PharmD required
Minimum 3 years of experience
Inpatient: PGY-1 residency OR 2+ years clinical hospital pharmacist experience
Outpatient: PGY-1 residency OR 2+ years clinical pharmacist experience
Minimum 1 year relevant experience for specialty assignments
Travel experience preferred/required per submission criteria

Key Responsibilities

Review, validate and dispense medications
Optimize medication therapy and patient safety
Clinical chart review and documentation
Medication reconciliation and patient education
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds
Monitor drug therapy, dosing and interactions
Support pharmacy staff training and education
Respond to emergency alerts when assigned
Oncology pharmacists: review and manage chemotherapy/oncology regimens and collaborate with oncology providers
