Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery
Mary Rutan Health | Bellefontaine, OH | 8 Weeks | 36 Hours/Week | Night Shift

Seeking an experienced L&D RN to provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care in a hospital setting.

Position Highlights:
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week.
- Possible weekend coverage.
- No on-call requirements.
- EMR: Meditech.
Key Duties:
- Perform patient assessments and reassessments, including pain management.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses.
- Provide patient and family education on treatment and care needs.
- Support postpartum and nursery care.
- Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and a safe patient environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Postpartum and nursery experience required.
- Active Ohio RN license or compact license required at submission.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
- BSN preferred.
- Updated resume and skills checklist completed within the past year.
- Certifications must be active and issued through AHA where applicable.
- If COVID-vaccinated, provide vaccination card.

Patterns Hiring Job ID #72021---1026. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
