Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• 2 or more completed travel assignments
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC
• Cerner experience

Job Details

• 36 hours per week
• No call required
• No floating required
• Unit has 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• 48-hour weekly guarantees are not available
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• One major and one minor holiday may be required
• Maximum RTO: none, as long as FTE and weekend requirements are met
• Navy scrubs required

Role Summary

• Responsible for providing patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provides shift accountability, coordinates nursing care, and supervises assigned personnel
