Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN)
Role Overview
- Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN)
- Primarily days
- Health Services - Travel assignment
- 13-week initial duration
- 36 hours/week guaranteed, with open availability needed for scheduling as required by client policy
- Potential 36/48 rotation
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of clinical supervisory experience
- Current licensure in the state of employment
- Valid driver's license
- Graduate from an accredited college, university, or nursing program with a degree/diploma in nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Corrections experience
- 1 year of professional nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily nursing and clinical activities
- Provide direct patient care within scope of licensure
- Fill in during periods of short staffing
- Perform triage and physical assessments
- Perform and direct emergency care and procedures as needed
- Supervise nursing and non-licensed health care providers
- Train new employees, evaluate performance, and prepare written performance appraisals
- Develop work schedules and approve leave requests
- Execute physician’s orders, assist with examinations or treatment, and administer medications
- Screen patients for referrals and perform intakes
