Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Lexington, KY

Job Summary:
Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing, and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Required Qualifications:
 

• One (1) year of mammography diagnostic experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to operate all equipment related to the job.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must maintain continuing education hours required by licensing agency.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

Required Education:
 

• Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
 

• BLS certification.
• Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry in Radiography RT(R).
• Current Commonwealth of State Specific Radiation License with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
