Description

Radiation Therapist – Travel Contract

📍 Facility: MVHS Inc.
🏥 Unit: Radiation Oncology
🕐 Shift: 8-hour days, primarily 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday
⏰ Hours: 37.5 hours/week
📏 Radius Rule: 75 miles
💼 Local Candidates: Accepted at the local rate if living within 75 miles

Required License & Experience

Active New York State Radiation Therapist license required.
Must have hands-on experience treating patients using:
- Varian 2300ix
- Varian EDGE TrueBeam
Knowledge of Siemens large-bore CT for simulation.
Experience with ARIA EMR required.
Must be familiar with Epic EMR.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to the treatment plan.
Operate Varian radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately.
Assist with CT simulation workflows.
Document treatment and patient information in ARIA and work with Epic as required.
Accommodate variable daytime hours based on the patient schedule.
