The ideal candidate must have recent infusion clinic experience and a strong background in oncology nursing.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Administer infusion treatments and chemotherapy safely according to physician orders.</li><li>Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments.</li><li>Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage complications.</li><li>Access and maintain IV lines and infusion devices according to established protocols.</li><li>Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC EMR system.</li><li>Follow infection control, medication safety, and oncology care standards.</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Current and valid California RN license.</li><li>Current BLS certification.</li><li>Required chemotherapy certification.</li><li>Recent infusion clinic experience.</li><li>Recent chemotherapy administration experience.</li><li>Minimum of <strong>4 years of acute nursing experience in an oncology setting</strong>.</li><li>Experience using the EPIC EMR system.</li></ul>
