Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Berline, MD 

Employment Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time

Position Overview

Seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy treatment programs under the direction of a Staff Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist with implementing individualized treatment plans and providing quality patient care while supporting each patient's rehabilitation and recovery goals.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments according to plans established by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, and rehabilitation activities
• Monitor patient responses and progress throughout treatment
• Communicate patient progress and observations with the Physical Therapist
• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other members of the healthcare team

Requirements

• High school diploma/four-year technical school with up to two years of specialized training OR two years of college or comparable education
• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Licensure requires 20 continuing education contact hours or 2.0 CEUs every 2 years
• BLS/CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required
• Previous Physical Therapist Assistant experience preferred

Compensation

Salary Range: $26.92–$41.72/hour, commensurate with experience
