Description

OR Tech - First Assist

Role Overview

Travel assignment for an OR First Assist.
10-hour day shifts with call.
First assists will also cover the surgical tech role as needed during the week.

Required Qualifications

3 years of CV experience.
Must be able to independently do vein harvesting.
Vein Harvesting experience.
EVH certification through NSAA or ABSA.
BLS.
CFSA through CAAHEP or CST through ABHES; NBSTSA is also accepted.

Schedule

6:30a-5p.
Weekday call covers from the end of the scheduled shift through 07:00 AM the following morning.
Weekend and holiday call covers from 07:00 AM to 07:00 AM the following day.

Additional Notes

No locals within a 60-mile radius.

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
