Travel RN – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
Location: Dothan, Alabama
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Patient ratio: 1:6–7
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Active Alabama RN license required at submission
- BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred
- Experience in a large healthcare facility
- Previous travel experience preferred; highly experienced candidates may be considered without it
- Must be proficient in cardiac drips: Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
- Must live at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies.
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications and vasoactive drips.
- Manage MS/Telemetry overflow patients, including orthopedic patients requiring cardiac monitoring.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe, quality patient care.
