Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Stepdown MW3 48's

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36's, every other weekend/holiday

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• OH License
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a large hospital
• Must have Vent experience
• Must have Epic experience
• Must be able to read and interpret strips
• IV Start
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH preferred
• Level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience
• Travel experience preferred

Other details:

• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

(Local is within 50 miles of home address to contracted facility)
**For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours**
**36 or 48 hour contract**
**Must have EPIC experience
**Must have vent experience
**Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6**
Must have the following requirements:• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.• BLS, ACLS required, NIH preferred - must be able to read and interpret strips• IV Start• Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.• Minimum 2 years' experience in a large hospital; level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience.• Travel experience preferred
Unit Details:High acuity, fast-paced step-down unit. Needs good time management skills.Excellent critical thinking skills, cardiac monitor interpretation, Ventilator/trach experience, ACLS, manage chest tubes, drains, NIH Stroke Certification, Cardiac drips.Patient Population: DKA, GI bleed, COPD, Pneumonia, Stroke, Sepsis, Urology complications.• Daily average census: 31• Navy Blue Scrubs
