Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Available Shifts
- Evening Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM (5 openings)
- Night Shift: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3 openings)
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Instrument Processing Technicians to support surgical and procedural teams by cleaning, inspecting, assembling, packaging, sterilizing, and distributing reusable surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Decontaminate and clean surgical instruments and reusable equipment.
- Inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize instruments according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Reprocess surgical equipment and scopes.
- Maintain inventory and proper storage of sterilized supplies.
- Distribute processed instruments to surgical and procedural areas.
- Follow established safety and infection prevention procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of instrumentation experience.
- CRCST or CBSPD certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hospital-based instrumentation experience preferred.
- Central Service Technician certification required within one year of hire, as specified in the job requirements.
