Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist you will provide the highest quality of occupational therapy services possible in a rural health setting. The Occupational Therapist (OT)will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational therapy services, as ordered by referring providers, to patients in the inpatient, swing bed, and outpatient settings. This role is crucial in supporting the rehabilitation and recovery of individuals with various conditions, contributing to their overall well-being and quality of life.

Requirements:    

Education/Licensure/Experience:

• Must be a graduate from an occupational therapy educational program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBOCOT).

• Possesses and maintains a current state certification/license as an OT.

• Maintains AHA BLS certification.

• One-year professional OT experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare facility (e.g., hospital, hospice, sports clinic, or extended care facility).
