Description

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered RT PEDS. This position provides respiratory care across adult telehealth floors, the Emergency Department, and potentially pediatric floors. The role requires experience caring for critically ill patients ranging from infants to geriatric adults, including pediatric patients.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience; travel experience required; Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certifications; experience with Epic charting; experience caring for adult and pediatric patients.
Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend coverage.
Additional Information: Therapists primarily provide care on adult telehealth floors and in the Emergency Department, with potential assignments to pediatric floors. The role involves caring for critical patients ranging from birth through geriatrics. Relevant clinical capabilities include adult and pediatric critical care, emergency respiratory care, ventilator management, airway management, tracheostomy care, arterial blood gas collection and interpretation, noninvasive ventilation, high-flow nasal cannula, suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, bronchoscopy support, extubation, and transport of patients.
