Operating Room position supporting surgical services through scheduled daytime shifts, weekend rotations, holiday coverage, and call responsibilities. The role supports orthopedic and general surgery cases and requires timely availability when called in for coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, typically scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., based on department needs; 40 hours per week. Block scheduling is not available.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Additional Information: One 8-hour weekend shift is required every third weekend, with weekend call rotation based on team assignment. Weekend call coverage may include 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shifts, with weekend call periods beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday and ending at 7:00 a.m. Monday. One summer holiday and one winter holiday shift or call assignment is required. Late call after the scheduled shift may be required to complete cases. Weekend and call assignments primarily support orthopedic cases but may also include general surgery cases. Personnel taking call must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of receiving a call-in request.
