PACU Travel RN
• Monitor and record patients’ vitals and levels of consciousness during the recovery from post-operative anesthesia.
• Collaborate with medical team on post-operative patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
• Inform physicians about changes in patients’ conditions when deemed necessary.
• Provide comfort, reassurance, and education to post-operative patients and concerned family members; as well as addressing any questions or concerns.
• Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• Also referred to as: post anesthesia care unit registered nurse

Job Requirements:
• 2 years of experience as a PACU nurse
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
