Requirements

Active RN license required.
Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
Experience with general surgery and gynecological procedures.
Ability to take rotating weekday and 24-hour weekend call.
Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call.
Ability to recover patients in the PACU when on call and as needed during the week.
Experience with robotic surgery and orthopedic procedures is beneficial.

Responsibilities - Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. - Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies before procedures. - Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures while maintaining sterile technique. - Support general surgery, robotic surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, C-sections, podiatry, and endoscopy procedures. - Support procedures involving the da Vinci surgical robot and ROSA orthopedic robot. - Monitor patient safety and coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs). - Provide PACU recovery care when on call and as needed during the regular workweek. - Participate in rotating weekday and weekend call coverage. - Respond to call-ins within the required 30-minute response time.
