Job duties to include:
- Conduct activity therapy to improve functioning and independence
- Provide activity resources and opportunities for all patients with a focus on improving health and well-being
- Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients’ functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients’ treatment team
- Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations
- Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan
- Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient
- Provide group educational therapies to assigned patients consistent with established techniques and methods relevant to the professional literature

Qualifications

Travel Therapist Job Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in associated discipline with Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification
- Licensure/Certification: Registered Art Therapist, Certified Music Therapist, Registered Occupational Therapist, Registered Physical Therapist, Certified Recreational Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor
- Experience: Two (2) or more years' experience providing activity therapy. Perfer minimum of two (2) years in psychiatric setting with children, adolescents, and adult population.
