Description
Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Days
Shift: Days
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts
Call: Every 4th weekend and 1–2 days per week, based on staffing
Job Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties.
- Assess patient needs and implement individualized nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to ensure safe patient care.
- Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards.
- Assist with precepting and mentoring nursing staff.
- Participate in evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
- Float to similar units as needed.
