Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor. This travel assignment supports overnight nursing care in a medical-surgical setting for a 13-week period. The role includes comprehensive patient assessment, medication administration, documentation, and other essential clinical responsibilities.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: 12+ years of medical-surgical nursing experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 p.m.7:30 a.m.; 12-hour shifts; every other weekend and every other holiday; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Assignment Dates: 11/30/202603/01/2027.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures, intravenous insertion, medication administration, Foley catheter insertion, vital-sign monitoring, assessment documentation, assisting with RSI, and point-of-care blood-glucose testing. The unit has a patient ratio of approximately 1:6 and requires navy blue scrubs.
