Description

Progressive Care Unit RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Middletown, Ohio
Winter contract option: 13 or 18 weeks
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
Based in the Progressive Care Unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Stepdown experience within the last year
1 year of Stepdown experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
Experience with Epic

Floating

Traveler will be first to float at discretion
May float in and out of the specialty cluster
May be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including High Risk Respiratory Unit/Covid

Additional Notes

3x12 or 4x12 shift option is listed in the source
Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives
The facility may cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
The agreement may be canceled with 2 weeks’ notice without fee or fine

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
