Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Bariatric Coordinator RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to work with patients throughout the process of achieving their weight-loss goals during the pre and post operational weight–loss surgeries. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Job Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required
  • BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required
  • CBM Certified Bariatric Nurse preferred
  • 3+ years Acute Care experience preferred
  • 2 years of Acute Care experience required
  • CBM Certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
