Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: Full-Time School Occupational Therapist in the Glen Ellyn, IL area!

PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time school-based position in the Glen Ellyn, IL area. This is an elementary school assignment for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year, with the potential for rehire if it’s a great fit!

Position Details

• Location: Glen Ellyn, IL area
• Setting: Elementary School
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
• Hours: 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• End Date: June 2, 2027, unless emergency days are used
• Pay: $50–$61 per hour
• In-Person Position
• Great district with potential for rehire

Role Overview

As a School Occupational Therapist, you’ll help elementary-aged students develop the functional, motor, sensory, and participation skills needed to succeed throughout their school day. You’ll work closely with teachers, families, and other members of the special education team to support students’ individualized needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Evaluate students and develop appropriate therapy goals and interventions
• Provide services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Support fine motor, visual motor, sensory regulation, self-care, and functional school skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and other related service providers
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate therapy records

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
