Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PACU
Shift: Variable Mids / start times 10:30a-12:30p, (10x4) 40 hours per week, start times, or earlier depending on department need)
Length: 13 weeks
Possible standby/on-call; based on department needsCall: 1 call shift per weeknight or 1 call shift every other weekend as needed; 1 holiday call as needed
Requirements:

• CA license
• 2 years experience
• 1 year of travel experience
• 1 year of pediatric hospital experience
• Critical Care experience
• AHA BLS
• AHA PALS 
• Associate's Degree
• Airway mgmt./vents/extubation/pain control/cardiac monitoring/fluid and electrolyte mgmt./discharge instructions
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Other Details

• Will consider Pedi Med/Surg travelers as well
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Unknown

Required:• 1 year of travel experience• Airway mgmt./vents/extubation/pain control/cardiac monitoring/fluid and electrolyte mgmt./discharge instructions• Critical Care experience• CA RN license• Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred• BLS/CPR (AHA)• PALS (AHA)
• Willing to accept (in order of preference): Pedi PACU, Pedi PICU or Pedi ER nurses• Will consider Pedi Med/Surg travelers as well• The PICU and ER nurses don’t have to have any PACU experience. Manager can use their skills and train them to PACU• 1 year of pediatric hospital experience is a requirement, in whichever of the above specialties.
Schedule information:• Shift: 4x10-Hour Variable Days (10:30 am to 12:30 pm start times, or earlier depending on department need)• Possible standby/on-call; based on department needs• Call: 1 call shift per weeknight or 1 call shift every other weekend as needed; 1 holiday call as needed• RTO Standard: All RTO required up front, no exceptions. No more than 6 days can be submitted. Only one holiday request off.
Unit Details:• PACU 38 beds• Ratio: NP Ratio 1:1-2; D/C area 1:3-4
