Job Description

Seeking an experienced nursing professional to serve as an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) in a post-acute care setting. The candidate will oversee nursing operations and provide leadership while also working on the floor as needed to cover staffing shortages and ensure continuity of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide interim nursing leadership and oversee daily nursing operations.
• Support and coordinate nursing staff and patient care activities.
• Work on the floor as needed to cover shifts and maintain adequate staffing.
• Ensure quality patient care and compliance with facility policies.
• Maintain effective communication and support the nursing team.

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license required for submission.
• Current BLS certification.
• BSN is not required.
• Willingness to provide both nursing leadership and hands-on clinical coverage.
