Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring active OR licensure, Epic experience, and Trauma Level I background.

Details

• Operating Room unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM-5:15 PM
• Schedule runs Friday-Monday after orientation
• Float required to CHH (ambulatory) and potentially other affiliate hospitals nearby
• Weekend work required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required, preferred in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required (AHA Traditional, RQI not accepted)
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Trauma Level I hospital experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Scrub skills required
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required (Charge RN references not accepted)
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Perform operating room nursing duties within a Trauma Level I hospital environment
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Candidates must have RTO requests submitted upfront, not exceeding 2 weeks
• Former OHSU employees or previous travelers must be gone at least 6 months before returning and must provide a reference from their prior OHSU manager
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction
