Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring 1+ year of recent home health experience and BLS certification.
Details
- Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population
- Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day, approximately 30 patients per week
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekend shifts or on-call requirements
- Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office, with flexibility expected across the territory
- HCHB EMR experience preferred
- iPad provided for documentation; mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience required
- BLS certification required
- Oasis experience required
- CA license required in hand; license required if applicable
- Must meet weekly productivity point requirements
- Strong communication and documentation skills required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include home exercise program development and patient/family education
- Treats conditions including orthopedic, neurologic, and post-surgical cases such as joint replacements and spinal conditions
- Scrubs of any color required; no jeans permitted
- Cell phone use not permitted; iPad provided by facility
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
- Any time off requests must be submitted at time of application
