Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Telemetry, Kailua. The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards and the nursing process. The role supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and applies critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in supporting safe patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data; developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans; coordinating care delivery; promoting a safe environment; collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers; providing health education; participating in discharge planning; and appropriately delegating and coordinating healthcare team duties. Required vaccinations must be received as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply.
