Description

Position: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Yuma, AZ
Shift: Night Shift, 12 hours
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate care to expectant mothers and their babies during the labor and delivery process. This position requires a high level of critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
Responsibilities:
Monitor the progress of labor and the condition of the fetus and mother
Administer medications, epidurals, and other pain management techniques
Assist with inducing labor and cesarean deliveries
Educate patients on prenatal care, labor, and postpartum care
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications:
Valid RN license in the state of Arizona
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
