Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics

Shift: Variable Days, Start time 7a or 8a, 8x5, 40 hrs per week, every 4th weekend

Length: 13 weeks

Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? Yes, every 4th. Week of call is 7 days (includes weekend) and its usually every 4-5 weeks that they take a week of call. They cover 2 hospitals when on call. All on call cases are screened by the Cardiologist on call to ensure the need for the tech being paged. Every single of our 8 locations is within 15-30 mins of each other

Requirements:

• 2 Years’ Experience
• Pediatric experience required
• Work Setting Experience required- ER.
• Special Requirements: Equipment/Scanner Experience required- Phillips, Echo Procedure Experience required- Bubble Study, Contract Agents, Pharm Stress Echoes, Treadmill Stress Echos
• BCLS
• RDCS- Adult, RCS required
• CCI

Shift: 7a to 8a start time and 8 hour shifts

Daily Caseload per tech: 7

Weekend REQ: (Y/N) Yes, every 4th

Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? Yes, every 4th. Week of call is 7 days (includes weekend) and its usually every 4-5 weeks that they take a week of call. They cover 2 hospitals when on call. They will not float mid shift to another location.

Parking Cost: Staff who work the day and evening shifts can shuttle from Ryan Field, the service is available Monday through Friday. No shuttle on weekends or holidays, will be allowed to park in parking structure on the south side of the lot. Please remember staff must complete an application; present to parking office and receive a sticker that needs to be displayed on rear window. For night parking, go to the parking office to arrange payment at the employee rate before shift. Auto payment may also be set up. Fees apply to days and mids,bi-weekly. No cost for nights
