RN – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele)

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Scheduling: Block scheduling is not available.
• Alternative Schedule: 4 × 12-hour shifts may be considered if available.
• Floating: Required based on facility needs.

Weekend & Holiday Requirements

• Every other weekend.
• Every other holiday.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry experience.
• Recent experience within the past year is required.
• Strong clinical skills in:
  • Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
  • Rapid Response and Code Team activation.
  • Peripheral IV line care and management.
  • Nasal cannula and oxygen administration, including oxygen tanks.
  • Non-invasive airway management.
  • Isolation precautions.

License & Certifications

• License: New York (NY) RN license.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Candidates who have already applied for a New York RN license may still be submitted. The license application submission date must be provided.
• Candidates with disqualifying findings on their nursing license will not be accepted.

Pay Information

• Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a bill rate that is $15 lower than the standard travel rate.

Time-Off Policy

• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.
• RTO requested after the offer will not be approved.
• Travelers are responsible for arranging coverage for any additional shifts they cannot work.

Call-Off Policy

• The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment.
