Our Cardiovascular Universal Bed (CUB) inpatient unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity heart and vascular patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Location: The Baylor Heart Hospital Denton 2801 S Mayhill Rd, Denton TX 76208

Patient Population: All things CV from STEMI to LVAD implantation, Cardiogenic shock, AAA, CABG, Valve, TEVR, Devices include TPW, IABO, Impella, TTM, lumbar drain and CRRT.

Hours: Full Time Staff / Day Shift / 3/12’s per week / 7am-7pm

CUB Unit: 1st Floor, 22 beds, 24-hour unit

Required Experience: Candidates MUST have minimum (1) one year (prefer 2+ years) of full time, recent experience in Cardiovascular ICU or Cardiovascular PCU.

Patient Ratios: Tele 4:1/PCU 3:1/ICU 2:1/CVICU 1:1

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

MAJOR - Nursing

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS and/or ACLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

EXPERIENCE: Candidates MUST have minimum of one (1) year (prefer 2 yrs) of recent, full-time experience in dedicated cardiovascular ICU/CVICU
