Our Cardiovascular Universal Bed (CUB) inpatient unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity heart and vascular patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building for every team member.
Location: The Baylor Heart Hospital Denton 2801 S Mayhill Rd, Denton TX 76208
Patient Population: All things CV from STEMI to LVAD implantation, Cardiogenic shock, AAA, CABG, Valve, TEVR, Devices include TPW, IABO, Impella, TTM, lumbar drain and CRRT.
Hours: Full Time Staff / Day Shift / 3/12’s per week / 7am-7pm
CUB Unit: 1st Floor, 22 beds, 24-hour unit
Required Experience: Candidates MUST have minimum (1) one year (prefer 2+ years) of full time, recent experience in Cardiovascular ICU or Cardiovascular PCU.
Patient Ratios: Tele 4:1/PCU 3:1/ICU 2:1/CVICU 1:1

EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
MAJOR - Nursing
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS and/or ACLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
EXPERIENCE: Candidates MUST have minimum of one (1) year (prefer 2 yrs) of recent, full-time experience in dedicated cardiovascular ICU/CVICU
