Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
• At least 1 year of professional Registered Nurse experience; telemetry or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Strong cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, prioritization, and clinical communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety, evidence-based nursing practice, and compassionate patient care

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in an inpatient telemetry and medical-surgical setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret changes, and recognize changes in patient condition
• Complete nursing assessments, administer medications, and implement individualized plans of care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, safety, and discharge needs
• Accurately document patient care and communicate clinical updates during nursing handoffs
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns according to established clinical protocols
