What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert nursing care during antepartum, intrapatum, postpartum, and neonatal phases
• Demonstrate leadership and critical thinking in planning and delivering patient-centered care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safety and comfort of mothers and babies
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
• Supervise and delegate patient care to assigned personnel, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and standards

Required Skills:

• At least 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, nursery, or mother/baby units, including prior travel experience preferred
• 2+ years of travel experience
• Valid RN licensure and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Strong critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• AWHONN certification (can be completed onsite)
• PALS certification within 30 days of start date
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Adaptability to fast-paced and diverse clinical settings
