We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role is critical for providing high-quality imaging services to patients as part of a Level II Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine and complex X-ray examinations.
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures as required.
• Ensure quality patient care and maintain strong communication skills during interactions with patients and staff.
• Adhere to safety and operating procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
• Manage a daily patient load, with the ability to image up to 30 patients per day.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Licensure as an X-Ray Technician.
• Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment is required.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Work Schedule

This position requires working day shifts, typically consisting of five 8-hour days, from 08:00 to 16:00. Some flexibility may be required to meet departmental needs.

Departmental Dress Code

• Licensed personnel (e.g., RNs, LVNs) are expected to wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs. Colored piping is permissible, but print tops are not accepted.
• Unlicensed personnel (e.g., CNAs, PCAs) should wear solid hunter green uniforms or scrubs.
